OUR MISSION

Many of you know that we unexpectedly lost Grant on 2/14/2022. Shortly after, I started this non-profit to help carry on some of Grant’s missions in life - Gnome Gname strives to promote love, diversity, inclusivity, and movement - in honor of Grant.

We plan to have an annual event to remember Grant.

Join us in making the world a better place, one step at a time.

We are announcing our 6/1/24 event shortly.

❤️ Everyone take care this week ❤️

On August 12th, @shivshields hosted a Glitter Movement across the pond in Scotland. Gnome Gname was honored to be a part of this event in celebration of Grant.

@alana_cruickshankpt did a fantastic job getting us all to move, laugh, and have fun... something Grant would have been extremely proud of.

We did a warm up run around the tree, flag tag where you grab another teams flag and then jog in place if you get caught, a cone partner challenge where a partner is picking a color and you have to run and touch the cone with the color, kick boxing/punching/weighed squat rotations, different running activities with placing cones, team races, tug of war, and a plank activity.

Consistent with a Scotland summer, there was a consistent drizzle... but the sun came out at the end for a brief period, and I know that was Grant expressing his love. He'd be so proud, Shiv ❤️

Donations will be sent to Gnome Gname so we can continue Grant's legacy, and we will have more announcements soon.

These were some of our favorite moments and we cannot stress enough how much Grant would have loved all of the fun and laughs while moving and promoting health and wellness. Check out our Facebook for the full album!

There's still time to get in on the action! Our Scottish Queen is running a BONUS BALL PRIZE to raise funds for her event in August!

She started with 100 numbers, and as of last night, these were the available spaces. It is £2 a number, winner gets £75 CASH PRIZE the other £125 raised goes to Grant's Glitter Movement ❤️ when all numbers have been taken she will scratch off the number.

Gnome Gname wants to introduce Chris! He is on our board and is a positive force that consistently pushes everything in the right direction ❤️

Chris understands the importance of physical activity, movement, and its positive contribution to your physical and mental health.

He has worked in healthcare his entire life and could not image doing anything else. Chris has been a nurse for nearly 10 years and most days loves what he does.

Chris enjoys reading, running, biking, history, art, independent film, breweries, and checking out new restaurants.

She, along with our board, strives to promote the goals of the company: love, inclusivity, diversity, and movement. Emily was a close and personal friend to Grant and loves that he was able to make SO many connections with awesome people during his life.

Emily is based in Milwaukee, is a foodie (...food snob? 😅😶), and enjoys her time out. She recently transitioned to a new department within her workspace and is more than thrilled when she can meet up with her first ever neice, Andi Mae (pictured). Emily likes nature until it attacks her and loves the mountains.
